SPRINGFIELD Striders were in the prizes at Sunday’s Tiptree 10.
Scott Cousins finished second in 55mins 51secs to lead the club to the team prize with Mark Newton (56:35) third and Gavin Allen (56.52) fourth.
Allen also won the V40 category, while Gary Chandler and Stuart Raven also made the top ten.
The ladies also scooped the team prize led by third lady Polly Bridgman (70:43) who was joined by Nichola Hands (75:40) and Kerry Marsh (81:00).
Paul Bridges ran his 99th marathon in Sussex and will compete in his hundredth this Sunday at Chelmsford.
Striders also had success on the roads with Kate Mills winning the Mablethorpe marathon in 3hrs 03mins and Malcolm Savage taking the V60 prize in the same race with a time of 3:25.
Paul Molyneux, in a warm up for his appearance for England in the Toronto Marathon, ran 68:11 at the UK Half Marathon championships at Cardiff to beat his own club record.
