CHELMSFORD Chieftains booked their place in the play-off final at the weekend, brushing aside the Streatham Redskins with a 7-0 win at Riverside on Sunday, 12-2 on aggregate over the two legs.
It was an awesome team performance that puts the league champions into next weekend’s play-off final against Wightlink Raiders.
It has been an outstanding campaign for the team from Riverside Ice & Leisure. They have already secured the League Championship, the League Cup and South East Trophy.
The Raiders, from the Isle of Wight, will be formidable opponents over the two legs. They overcame the challenge of Invicta Dynamos last weekend to set up a final between the top two in the league.
Chieftains travel to the Isle of Wight on Saturday for the 1st leg and on Easter Sunday it’s the 2nd leg at Riverside (6.30pm face-off).
A fantastic finale to what has been a season to remember.
