CHELMSFORD City have confirmed the signings of Matthew Lock and Bertie Brayley.
Lock previously had a two-year spell with the Clarets stretching back to 2009/10.
Since then, he's played for Gloucester City and travelled to Australia where he undertook coaching. He joins up with the club after having his international clearance accepted.
Both players have impressed Dean Holdsworth during pre-season and Brayley, another former Claret, has signed a short-term deal with City.
Brayley last wore a City shirt in the 2008/09 campaign and he netted the equaliser in City's recent pre-season match against Southend United.
Well travelled Brayley began his career at West Ham United before playing for the likes of Grays Athletic, Braintree Town, Billericay, Harlow and Thurrock, to name a few.
