A group of Year 9 students in Maldon have created three life-size Daleks from a pile of scrap metal as part of a school project.
The nine boys from Plume School, Maldon built the models over seven months in their Design and Technology class.
Teacher Chris Masters, 39, came up with the project because his daughter was interested in Dr Who.
He said: “I thought it would be fun to see if it was possible to build a full-size Dalek.
“It has been a fantastic opportunity for the students to show off their skills and create a real masterpiece."
