They don't get as far as the courts any more. Unless you are a murderer or a rapist you just get a caution and sent home.

Big deal, they wont go anywhere dark anyway , trouble is when pc darren and tracy use them the descriptions will be of green people, I have an army nightscope and everything is in negative so this will **** up the IDs

Try this: Spot criminal doing what criminals do. Say to criminal "Hello, hello, hello! whats all this then?"
Criminal replies "I am only 15!" Check with book. No, cannot arrest 15 year old as she is a minor and therefore protected. Ask her her name and address then send her on her way.

Next Criminal is an 18 year old you have caught red handed coming out of a house with his swag bag on his back and mask still in place. clap him in irons and down to the station for processing.
First question by booking sergeant " were you on your own, PC 1? "Yes Serge!" you reply. Serge shakes head, sighs and says"Well go on then, give it a try. Bet you don't win though!"
Seven days later you walk out of the back office with your case written up for the CPS, on the sack barrow you are pulling behind you, relieved that you can get out of that stinking station and get some fresh air.

Three months later, you get a return from the "Can't prosecute service" which reads: "On page 200,782 you mis-spelt the name of the defendant. Regretfully, this looks like duplicity. Did you mean "Smyth" or "Smith?" Therefore, the case is lost and all charges will be dropped and compensation offered to the poor man you arrested.
Your Inspector also sends you an official disciplinary letter, to be inserted into your file for ever,which reads "Because of this waste of public money and our time over this obviously frivilous charge, we are left with no alternative but to suspend you from duty for 31 days without pay, and you will attend an interview with the standards offiers at the end of the suspension when, as a result of their findings, you may be terminated as a police officer!

This is all on account of solicitors who are way, way brainier than anybody in the Crown service or senior Police officers running little fairy rings around our so called justice system and getting obscenely rich in the due process!

Now, would you like to try your hands at police work? If you would, instead of throwing anonymous insults at these poor fellows, most of whom face an uncertain future (Gated communities of the rich have private security minding them. why would they want police? Only Mr average downwards need protection!) do you really think you are helping by the kind of sick comment you leave here?
