GREEN-THINKING teens are invited to take part in environmental projects across the borough.
Chelmsford-based charity Wilderness Foundation have set up impACT, an environmental youth action group for 11 to 18-year-olds.
The charity runs a range of environmental projects and activities across the district, including practical conservation, schools groups, art and design projects and issue-based projects on key subjects like climate change, local food production, pollution and green spaces.
The project is launching on Saturday February 21 and young people from the area are being invited to come along to Central Baptist Church in Victoria Road, Chelmsford, between 10.30am and 12.30pm.
Robert Corby, administration manager, said: “We want to invite young people to come along and find out what we are doing as an environmental charity.
“The project will be totally youth-led.”
