CHANTELLE Houghton has been getting friendly with rival glamour model Jordan’s ex, Peter Andre.

The 2006 Celebrity Big Brother winner, who grew up in Wickford but now lives in Brentwood, has been spotted several times with Jordan’s estranged husband.

The pair were together at the Silver Clef music awards, in London, on Friday. She’d joined Andre the night before at Movida nightclub to celebrate his new recording contract, reputedly worth £1million.

Chantelle, 25, also attended a birthday party for Andre’s daughter, Princess.

Peter, 36, has confirmed on the Twitter website he considers Chantelle “a good friend”, but denied any romance.

He wrote: “Just to let you know, there is nothing going on with me and Chantelle, 1,000million per cent. She is becoming a good friend.

“My head hasn’t even been able to think of anyone else.

“Kids and work – that’s it for now. Thought I’d set the record straight.”

His posting goes on to describe Chantelle as “a real sweetheart”, while she is reported to have described Andre as her ideal man.

However, some are ascribing a more cynical motive to the reports.

The pair share an agent and there are suggestions it may just be a publicity stunt.
