A NEW discount retailer has opened in Chelmsford and created about 40 jobs.
Home Bargains has spent about £500,000 refitting a unit on Chelmsford’s Riverside Retail Park.
The new store was opened by Chelmsford mayor Christopher Kingsley, and his wife Marian, on July 28.
Joe Morris, operations director for the company, said: “Home Bargains is excited to have opened yet another store in the Essex area and we look forward to welcoming new customers.”
The shop will sell homeware bargains.
