POLICE are appealing for help to identify a man suspected of sexually assaulting a woman in Chelmsford.
Officers were contacted just after 9.45am on Saturday, June 30, with reports of a sexual assault of a woman.
The incident happened between 4am and 5am that morning as the woman approached the junction of Parklands Drive and Turkey Oaks.
The woman, who is in her 20s and from Chelmsford, was grabbed from behind and groped.
The man also kissed her before running off.
He has been described as of Asian appearance, in his late 20s, about 5ft 6ins tall, of skinny build, with short black hair.
He was wearing a navy t-shirt, dark blue jeans and appeared to have something stuffed up the front of his t-shirt.
A 22-year-old man from Chelmsford was arrested on suspicion of the offence on July 12, however he has been released without charge.
