A MAN was left in a serious condition in hospital after a collision with a car.
Police are appealing for witnesses to the incident in Chelmsford.
The collision, in Parkway, involved a silver Ford KA and a 43-year-old Chelmsford man.
It happened shortly after 3am on Sunday, July 9.
The man was taken by paramedics to Broomfield Hospital after sustaining serious abdominal injuries. He is currently in a stable condition.
The car driver was unhurt.
A section of the road was closed for about four hours while and investigation was carried out.
Anyone with information is urged to contact investigating officers at Dunmow Road Policing Unit on 101.
