A COMEDY musician will perform with her ukulele in Chelmsford.
Jules Everest, from Colchester, will be at the Cramphorn Theatre, Chelmsford, on May 26 performing her ukulele act with a twist.
She said: “I take well-known tunes and twist the lyrics to make them comical – for example, Adele’s Someone Like You becomes No one Like You, about how a woman doesn’t want her next boyfriend to turn out as bad as the current one.
“I try not to be too offensive or sweary and make the tunes phonetically similar to the original.”
D’Ukulele, the first ukulele festival in Essex, will take place between noon and 5pm.
