A FORMER husband and wife appeared in court to face charges for a number of offences, including burglary.
Leslie and Karen Harvey, both of Nelson Grove, Chelmsford, appeared before magistrates in Chelmsford.
Mr Harvey, 37, is charged with: * Burglary relating to an offence on or about June 28, at Rookes Crescent, Chelmsford, where bicycles were stolen.
* Burglary on or about August 12, at a property in Highfield Road, acting with Karen Harvey, stealing electrical goods including a games console, video camera, TV and cushion cover.
* Burglary on August 13, in Tower Avenue, Chelmsford, acting with Karen Harvey, stealing a wallet containing £60 worth of Euros.
Mrs Harvey, 30, is charged with: * Burglary on or about August 12, at a property In Highfield Road, acting with Leslie Harvey, stealing electrical goods including a games console, video camera, TV and cushion cover.
* Burglary on August 13, in Tower Avenue, Chelmsford, acting with Leslie Harvey, stealing a wallet containing £60 worth of Euros.
* Two counts of possession of a class A drug.
They were both released on conditional bail by the court.
These conditions are in place until their cases are heard at Chelmsford Crown Court on October 24.
Mr and Mrs Harvey were arrested by police on Sunday, August 14.
