Teenager attacked with glass in nightclub

POLICE are appealing for a man who was chatting to a young girl in Dukes Nightclub shortly before she was assaulted by a woman to contact police.

The woman approached a 17 year old local girl inside the smoking area of the club at about 2am in the early hours of Saturday January 30 and hit her over the head with a glass bottle causing concussion which was treated at Broomfield Hospital.

The suspect is described as a white, aged approximately 20 years, long brown hair, around 5'5" in height and slim build. She was wearing a creamy white sleeveless top with a black bow on it and black shorts or a skirt.

The victim was chatting with a man she did not know just prior to the unprovoked attack and police believe he may have some information about the woman suspect.
