A PUBLIC meeting is taking place next week following the retirement of the Bishop of Chelmsford.
The Rt Rev John Gladwin stood down on August 31 and the process of appointing a new bishop is now taking place.
The meeting takes place on Wednesday September 9 at 7.30pm in the Chelmsford Cathedral Chapter House.
Anyone wishing to comment on the needs of the Diocese is welcome to attend.
The Chapter House is adjacent to the Cathedral at the junction of Cottage Place, Church Street, Church Lane and Cathedral Walk in the centre of Chelmsford.
