We are yet to hear the old favourite: our train is late due to leaves on the track. However, having the computerised screens on the platform tell us our train is on time, when it clearly is not, adds insult to injury. Maybe this is the root of the problem. Train staff can't tell the time. If we are to wait for slow trains which are more than often a shoddy state inside, surely Connex could at least treat us as intelligent human beings, rather than herds of cattle.
