AN INQUEST into the death of a Burnham man has opened.
Robert Dearlove, 84, died at his home in Burnham on May 10.
At Essex Coroner's Court in Chelmsford this morning, senior coroner Caroline Beasley-Murray opened the inquest into Mr Dearlove's death.
The court heard Mr Dearlove had been found unresponsive in his Burnham home and was sadly declared dead at the scene.
A post-mortem has been carried out which found the provisional cause of death as hanging.
The inquest was adjourned for mention on July 9.
