THEATRE-GOERS are set to be wowed by a new play in the city.

White Feather Boxer will be performed at the Cramphorn Studio at 8pm on Thursday, September 21 at 8pm.

The show is set in April 1967, and follows a boxing legend and a trainer.

In a shabby Bethnal Green boxing gym, elderly trainer Jimmy hears the news: heavyweight boxing champion of the world, Muhammad Ali, has defied the US Military by refusing to fight in Vietnam.
