Woman charged after biting police officer at train station
A CHELMSFORD woman has been charged after assaulting a police officer.
Jemika Williamson, aged 22, of Morley Road in Stratford, was charged with assault by beating, assaulting a constable in the execution of their duty and travelling on the railway without paying fare.
It relates to an incident at Chelmsford Train Station at 10.40am yesterday, in which a member of the public and a police officer were assaulted.
She was remanded in custody and was due to appear at Chelmsford Magistrates’ Court today.
