A CONVENIENCE store has been ram-raided overnight by crooks.
Community members woke in shock to find the Nisa Local convenience store, on Imperial Avenue, Mayland, had been the target of a burglary.

UPDATE 11.35am: A man has been arrested following a police pursuit.
A spokesman for Essex Police said: "We are appealing for information following a burglary at the Nisa store, Imperial Avenue, Mayland, at around 2.40am today.
"Suspects wearing balaclavas used a Land Rover Discovery to ram the store before taking a cash machine and driving off in a black Audi Q5.
"We quickly located the car in Lower Burnham Road, South Woodham Ferrers, at around 3.05am and the vehicle sped off.
"The occupants decamped in Elizabeth Way, Heybridge, at 3.15am and a 20-year-old man from Heybridge was arrested on suspicion of burglary by police armed with a taser following a brief pursuit. He remains in custody for questioning.
"We are seeking further suspects, and are keen to locate the cash machine. Enquires are continuing."
