A MAN has been left with life threatening injuries after a collision on the A12.
The serious incident saw a Ford Fiests collide with trees on the northbound carriageway, near Ingatestone, at 1.30am today.
The 33-year-old man from Suffolk was taken to hospital with head injuries.
A police spokesman said: "We received several calls with reports a Ford Fiesta had collided with trees on the northbound carriageway between junctions 13 and 14 near Ingatestone at 1.30am today, Monday April 24.
"Paramedics and firefighters also attended and the driver, a 33-year-old man from Suffolk, was taken to hospital with head injuries.
"The road was closed until 7am."
