A COMEDY line-up has been announced for this year’s city summer festival event.
Chelmsford City Council has revealed that funny man Seann Walsh will be headlining this year’s Fling Festival on the all new Comedy Big Top stage.
The event is for adults only, and is returning to Hylands Park, on Saturday July 1, from 12pm to 11pm.
The Fling Festival offers a large yet intimate village of music, theatre, and fantastical storytelling amongst of unique performances of comedy, poetry, dance, cabaret, side-shows and other curiosities.
Comedian, Seann Walsh regularly appears on seen on Channel 4’s Virtually Famous.
His other TV appearances include: ITV’s Jonathan Ross Show, Tonight at The London Palladium, Celebrity Juice, 8 Out Of 10 Cats and Alan Carr: Chatty Man, plus Comedy Central’s Russell Howards Stand Up Central.
Sean Walsh will be joined by a range of comedy acts including, Andrew Maxwell, who is the voice of MTV’s hit show Ex On The Beach.
Glenn Wool, who is a regular addition to many festivals including Glastonbury, will be at the event.
Also performing will be Suzi Ruffell who is regarded as one of the best up-and-coming acts on the circuit. Her hit Edinburgh 2016 show ‘Common’ received four and five star reviews across the board which led to supporting the likes of Alan Carr, Josh Widdicombe and Kevin Bridges on tour.
Completing the line-up is the award winning Kevin McCarthy, and the master of one-liners and strange thoughts Jake Lambert.
