THE mother to a four-year-old girl with cerebral palsy is hopeful state-of-the-art surgery will give her the chance in life she deserves.

Sadie Fisk, from Margaretting, has the neurological condition which affects movement, after being born prematurely at 27 weeks.

This month, she underwent a complex operation at Portland Hospital, London with the backing of Persimmons Homes Essex, who donated £1,000 towards the surgery.

Kelly Fisk, Sadie’s mother, said: “This operation will really change her life – as well as ours as a family.

“We have been fundraising for three years and we’re thrilled Sadie can finally have this operation.

“We’ve hosted numerous events including a charity black tie ball, which raised an incredible £20,000.

“This generous donation from Persimmon Homes Essex will be put towards the necessary physiotherapy she requires after the operation.”
