SMILES and family fun were brought to the Meadows Shopping Centre, with giant Elves dishing out candy cane and chocolates to the little ones.
The characters spent Saturday and Sunday taking Elfie selfies with little ones, and finding out if children had been naughty or nice during the Christmas countdown.
Elf Adam said: “We’re here to make The Meadows customers smile this Christmas.
“We’ll put a smile on the kids faces, and help you carry your bags to the car – and we might even have some more treats to share over the next two weekends.”
The centres’ charity partner for the holiday season, Hamelin Trust, also helped shoppers by gift wrapping customers presents for a small donation.
During the next two weeks, volunteers from the charity will be at The Meadows at the weekends offering this same service to those whose wrapping skills are lacking, and also offering a range of activities to get involved in, including interactive games for both children and adults.
The Elves will be back at the Meadows this weekend, on December between December 10 – 11 and December 17-18.
For the full schedule of activities see the Meadows’ website.
