A brother and sister, and one of their teachers, have received an award for helping children get involved with science and technology.
Rebecca Jilks, 16, and her brother Benjamin, 15, both pupils at The Boswells School, won the Technology in Learning category at the Essex Education Awards, along with their school’s Head of Computing and Business Studies, Penny Cater.
The trio were involved in the development and promotion of a chemistry education app that has inspired other schools and students to become interested in science and IT.
