A NURSERY is planning a firework safety event for the official opening.

Families are invited to the opening of the Busy Bees Nursery, Springfield Road Chelmsford to get in to the bonfire night spirit, by enjoying a variety of firework-themed activities at their Big Bang Open Day.

As part of the ‘Big Bang’ celebrations on Saturday November 5, visitors to the nursery will be enjoying balloon modelling, face painting and an Autumn treasure hunt, as well as a whole host of colourful arts and crafts activities such as firework painting.

During the event, which will run from 10am until 3pm, visitors will be able to sample some of the delicious meals and snacks on the nursery menu as well as a variety of tasty treats on offer including popcorn, candyfloss and even chocolate sparklers.
