POLICE are appealing for witnesses following car crashes in Wood Street, Chelmsford and Yeomanry Way in Great Baddow. 

One incident happened at around 12.34pm on Saturday, October 15 at the Wood Street mini roundabout that joins Galleywood Road.

It involved a silver Ford KA and a red Citroen C1. No one was injured but roadside railings were damaged.Officers are investigating the circumstances leading up to the collision and are appealing for anybody who saw what happened who has not already spoken to police to come forward.

Police are also seeking witnesses following a road collision on the A1114 Essex Yeomanry Way in Great Baddow.

It happened in the early hours of Sunday, October 16 and involved a blue Renault Clio and a white Ford Mondeo taxi that were travelling towards the A12.

Both vehicles had been involved in a collision and were parked at the side of the road when there was a further collision with a blue Vauxhall Astra. No one suffered serious injuries.

Officers would like to speak to anyone who witnessed or drove past the first collision. This would have been sometime between midnight and 12:45am.
