A second person has been charged this morning following the death of Brian Hurry in Chelmsford.
Terri Hurry, 41, of Spring Rise, Galleywood, is charged with murder, theft and perverting the course of justice.
She was due to appear at Chelmsford Magistrates Court today.
Michael McDonald, 24, of Tennyson Road, Chelmsford, was charged with murder on June 23.
Mr Hurry was found dead at his home in Bramwoods Road shortly after 5pm on Saturday, June 18.
A post-mortem examination found a provisional cause of death as head injuries caused by blunt force trauma.
