JAZZ and Blues fans can enjoy a night with Jools Holland and an evening at the races.
Chelmsford City Racecourse will be hosting the energetic musician at a special race and concert night on Saturday.
Jools will be joined on stage by Ruby Turner, Chris Difford from Squeeze and his famous Rhythm and Blues Orchestra to play a set packed with blues and jazz classics as well as some of his own music.
There will be a full fixture of horse racing before the concert and a wide selection of food and drinks stands to sample.
Jill Turner, commercial manager of the racecourse, said: “We are all very excited about the upcoming concert. Jools is a fabulous performer and I know we’re in for a real treat.
"The weather looks good over the coming week too.
"With a full fixture of thoroughbred racing beforehand, it will be the perfect way to end the summer in style!”
Tickets start at £30 with the option to add tickets to a special After Show party hosted by Heart Essex DJ Matt Mackay in the Club Lounge, available for an extra £10.
