Car seen "travelling the wrong way" on the A12
A CAR has been spotted travelling the wrong way down a busy dual carriageway, according to traffic reports.
The Essex Traffic Control Centre has reported a car travelling in the wrong direction on the London-bound carriageway of the A12, between junction 12 at Shenfield and the junction 11 for the M25.
The incident was first reported shortly after 11am.
An Essex Police spokesman said:"Police were called just before 11 today following reports that a car was driving down the wrong way of the Brook Street roundabout in Brentwood.
"It entered the A12 carriageway and travelled between junction 12 and 11.
"Officers attended and put road blocks in place but the vehicle wasn’t found."
