Five tonnes of straw catch fire in barn in Margaretting
Fire crews from Chelmsford and Great Baddow rushed to Margaretting after five tonnes of straw caught alight in a barn.
Crews were called to Church Lane in Margaretting at about 2.25pm yesterday after the straw caught fire in the 30m by 10m building.
Firefighters used two hose reel jets to extinguish the fire by 3pm.
