ARMED robbers stole a three figure sum of cash from a Chelmsford bookmakers.
It happened at the William Hill premises in Broomfield Road, on Thursday, November 19 at around 10.50pm.
Two men approached the betting shop. One went inside and threatened the cashier with a knife. The other remained outside. They took a three figure sum of cash and made off on foot down Broomfield Road towards Chelmsford city centre.
The man who entered the shop was wearing a purple cap, a grey hooded top and black gloves and trousers.
