AS London's Oxford Street puts up it's Christmas decorations some 77 days before the day itself, we want to know if you've spotted any shops or businesses in Essex getting into the festive spirit.

Brightening the two atriums of the John Lewis' flagship shop in Oxford Street, the 2015 scheme is entitled 'A different perspective' and features triangular red and green Christmas trees suspended amidst large mirrored 'snowballs'.

Some people are throwing themselves into the festive season but some bemused shoppers marvelled at how early the Christmas season is starting this year.

This morning, the iconic shopping street in central London was festooned with lights - leading to some mixed reactions on Twitter.

As the capital gets into the swing of the most wonderful time of the year, we want to hear from anyone who has spotted Christmas decs up in our county.

Send us a tweet @Essex_Echo with your pictures of any Christmas decorations you've seen around the county.
