There are more than £100 worth of free gifts for all teams who enter an exciting 6 a side football league which kicks off in Chelmsford soon.

All teams who join up before the league – which is run by Leisure Leagues, Europe’s largest provider of small sided soccer - kicks off on October 26 and will take place at Chelmsford High School every Monday.

Games cost £27 and happen between the times of 7-9pm.

All players will receive free shirts and shorts together with a waiving of the usual £25 registration fee.

Teams will then be competing for a range of top prizes including custom made trophies and medals for the top three teams.

There is also a chance to play at the National 6 side championships where they will get the chance to represent Chelmsford and really hit the jackpot, as last year’s winners scooped some top prizes.

A fun, but competitive game is assured – and in a unique move profits from the league will be donated to charity, for which Leisure Leagues have been praised by, amongst others, David Cameron and Prince Charles.

All standards are catered for with New Business Manager Chris Rowntree saying: “Whether you fancy yourself as the next Lionel Messi, or you are an honest trier who loves the game, or just a plain old Titus Bramble, then we can find room for you here!

“We have been running leagues for 30 years and we are confident that we can give the same enjoyment to the community of Chelmsford that we have already in so many places.”

Qualified refs – with all equipment provided – will be in charge of the league, and are backed up by the strongest discipline structure there is, to ensure the games are competitive and fun.

Boasting the most interactive website in 5 and 6 a side football, players will be able to follow their latest results, league tables, read the latest blogs, and post their own profiles online.

Anyone who wants to register a team can do so on www.leisureleagues.net or for more information they can call 0333 123 2340.
