Chelmsford City Racecourse to host race night in aid of Macmillan Cancer Support
CHELMSFORD City Racecourse is putting on a race night in aid of Macmillan Cancer Support.
It will be filled with horseracing, food, drink and betting, with the aim of raising vital funds for the charity .
Organiser Cathryn Wood said: “Our target is to raise as much money as possible for Macmillan. We don’t want anyone to face cancer alone.”
Six races will run across the evening, with the first starting at 5.40pm, and a luxury raffle will be called at the end of the night.
The event takes place next Thursday, September 10.
Tickets are £15 and the gates open at 3.40pm.
