CHELMSFORD residents can have their say next week at a meeting with the Essex Police and Crime Commissioner.

Residents can raise their crime and policing-related concerns with the PCC Nick Alston and the Essex Police District Commander Chief Inspector Alan Cook.

Everyone is welcome to attend the meeting hosted by Nick Alston to discuss local crime and community safety issues in the city.

The public meeting starts at 6.30pm on Thursday, September 10, and is being held at the Keene Hall, Watchouse Road.

A briefing document on crime trends in Chelmsford district will be available on the PCC website shortly before the meeting.

Mr Alston said: "I encourage everyone who lives in the Chelmsford area to come along to the meeting and raise the issues that matter to them around crime, policing and community safety.

"If you care about keeping Chelmsford safe, please join us and be part of the debate.”
