Dulwich Hamlet 1–1 Grays Athletic
From Champion Hill
Ryman Premier League
GRAYS Athletic grabbed a last-minute equaliser to ensure their unbeaten start to the season continued at Dulwich Hamlet.
Skipper Kenny Beaney levelled in the dying embers of the game, after striker Dumebi Dumaka saw red for the away side.
The game started evenly, and it was Grays who had the ball in the net first. Bradley Fortnam-Tomlinson had the ball in the net but he was adjudged offside and they fell behind soon after.
Ashley Carew broke forward and netted, with goalkeeper Lamar Johnson frustrated at perhaps not getting his hand on the ball.
Jay Leader hit the bar for the away side before the break but the goal was not forthcoming.
Into the second-half, Johnson was perhaps lucky not to have been dismissed for possibly handling outside the box, although a red card was not long in coming.
Dumka received a second yellow card, with Danny Waldron dismissed for the hosts afterwards.
But Grays had the last laugh when Beaney darted between defender and goalkeeper to nod home a Leader flick.
Grays Athletic: Johnson, Ifill, Leader, Cronin, Siva, Carlos, Beaney, Stevens, Ferguson, Fortnam-Tomlinson, Dumaka
