THE PREVIEW: Both these sides can say they have been disappointed with their starts to the season.

With just three wins in 10 games between them, Billericay and Bognor sit 13th and 10th respectively and both will be desperate to get the points tomorrow.

Billericay haven’t won in three in league and cup, having been held at home by two of the newly-promoted sides, while Bognor have conceded six without reply in their last two games, losing 5-0 to Tonbridge Angels in their last home game.

But Billericay boss Craig Edwards will not be underestimating the size of the challenge, following Tuesday’s 1-1 draw with newly-boys Merstham, although they won 2-1 on their last trip to Bognor.

WHAT HE SAYS: Town boss Edwards said: “I am looking forward to this game as I felt the second half against Merstham could well have been a turning point.

“We didn’t score but we played the best football we have done all season. We were confident with the ball and looked dangerous.

“We have been very good defensively all season and it it the other end of the pitch we need to sort out. We have good offensive players but haven’t quite gelled as a unit.

“I want them to enjoy their football and hopefully that will be evident tomorrow, against a good Bognor side.”
