Thurrock 3-1 Tilbury
From Ship Lane
Ryman One North
THURROCK survived an early red card to defeat borough rivals Tilbury in impressive fashion.
A brace from Ross Wall and a goal from Remi Sutton ensured the points stayed at home, with former Fleet man Kurt Smith leveling for the Dockers before half-time.
It looked bleak for the home side when Jordan Clark was dismissed after just 25 minutes, especially against a Tilbury side that had started the season in such impressive fashion.
However, Wall made sure the half ended on a high for the hosts as he scored in style.
But Smith equalised five minutes into the second-half to give the away side the advantage.
But two goals in the space of seven minutes turned the game on its head and gave Mark Stimson’s side the points.
