Chelmsford is set to get a branch of popular bar The Slug and Lettuce this summer.
After a £380,000 investment, the bar will open on Saturday, August 15, with a selection of offers including two for one cocktails and discounts on wine followed by a launch party on August 21.
Doors open at 7pm and guests will be invited to test their mixology skills in cocktail master classes, enjoy live music and a sneak preview of the food and drinks menu.
The new bar in Annonay Walk, Chelmsford, will create 32 new jobs.
General manager Kim Candido said: "Having recently celebrated our 30th Birthday it is a really exciting time for Slug and Lettuce and we are really pleased to bring the brand to the town of Chelmsford.
"The whole team has been working effortlessly, so we are really looking forward to revealing all and seeing the public reaction.”
