He is wanted in connection with the theft of a mobile phone.
A teenage girl had her mobile phone snatched from her back pocket while she was walking home with a friend in Stump Lane, Chelmsford, at about 4.30pm on June 3.
The suspect then made off along a path near to Hill View Road.
Police would now like to identify the man in this efit.
