The Fling Festival, a unique summer festival of live music, cabaret and curiosity will once again welcome adults of all ages to the glorious surroundings of Hylands Park, Essex on Saturday, July 4, from 12noon.

This year marks the festival's seventh anniversary and sees the exciting addition of camping; allowing festival goers to continue this exclusive party with alluring late night entertainment and Sunday morning activities.

Headlining this year's musical feast will be the world-renowned Dub Pistols who have worked with the likes of The Specials and Madness. There's also Renegade Brass Band, "the best brass band working out of Britain!", (according to Craig Charles, BBC 6 Music), and BBC 6 Music's Shaun Keaveny will be making a very special DJ set appearance.

The Fling also welcomes Leddra Chapman, hailed as one of the most gifted young songwriters in Britain today.

But away from the main stages The Fling also offers an intimate village of comedy, surreal theatre, fantastical storytelling and curious sideshows amongst a banquet of unique performances from far and wide. Acts that will help you get in touch with your creative side, include Step Hop House, which is a fusion of Maypole, Ceildh and Clog dancing mixed with hip hop and breakdance - there's also a chance for festival-goers to join in the action.

If you're more sporty and looking for something quirky, there's Jo Peacock's Horse World, which offers space hopper racing and the Wellbeing Zone is offering the must-do activity of laughter yoga.

If you want to get more hands-on you can join in with Make, Do & Mend and the Moustacheo Club to create your own very individual rag rugged beard.

The club also offers many other chap-based goings-on, such as biscuit dunking and beard parades.

If you want to sit back and relax at the Fling, there are over 300 performers to keep you entertained. Enjoy exotic and burlesque dancers, captivating storytellers, the finest comedy acts from the Comedy Club (including the award-winning Paul F. Taylor), or be amazed at the athletic agility in the new Palladium tent which will demonstrate parkour and free running.
