EAST Thurrock United and Grays Athletic have lost key players to Concord Rangers today.

Rocks captain Stephen, 22, has impressed in the Ryman Premier League in recent seasons, making more than 150 appearances, with East Thurrock manager John Coventry making him captain last summer.

But he has linked up with new Beach Boys manager Adam Flanagan in the National League South for next year.

Gough has broken onto the scene this season at Mill Field for Grays, winning rave reviews for a number of fine performances between the sticks.

Grays turned to Lamar Johnson in the closing weeks of the season, although it remains to be seen whether Mark Bentley will choose to strengthen that area after Gough's departure.
