A POSSIBLE witness to a sexual assault is being asked by police to come forward.
Officers believe the man pictured in the CCTV image, who is not a suspect, may be a witness to an assault in which a woman was forced to perform a sex act on a man near the Meadows Shopping Centre in Chelmsford.
The offence is believed to have taken place between 1am and 2am on February 22 and the man in the photo, or anyone who recognises him, is asked to contact PC Lisa Puttock at the north Sexual Offences Investigation Team on 101 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
