Deichmann shoes has re-opened in Chelmsford after moving to a bigger unit in the High Chelmer shopping centre.

The move is a response to the need for a larger space and is set to enhance the customer experience, ensuring that the journey through the store is guaranteed to flow seamlessly.

The brand has spent £360,000 on refurbishments during the one-month project, which saw the Deichmann store close in the town for just one day in total.

Like the rest of the brand’s 3,500 strong global portfolio, the new 375m2 Chelmsford store benefits from a simple, customer friendly layout, with all the stock available on the shop floor so that customers can easily locate and try on the style and size of their choice.

To celebrate the opening of its new store in Chelmsford, Deichmann is offering customers a range of irresistible promotional offers and mark-downs.

Mark Langstone, Store Manager of Deichmann in Chelmsford, said: “It’s been a challenging few months, as we were determined to keep trading for as long as possible in order to avoid disappointing our loyal customers.

“But it’s all been worth it as the new store is looking fantastic.

"Visiting us is going to be an even better experience from now on and I’m really looking forward to welcoming old and new customers alike.”
