Police are investigating the theft ring with over £1,000 taken from a property in Chelmsford.
The platinum and diamond ring, worth a four figure sum, was stolen from a property in Canuden Road, Chelmsford, between Wednesday, February 25 and Thursday, March 26.
The ring, which was taken from a jewellery box, has four diamonds shaped in the form of a cross and is inscribed with the words Bert to Betty.
