A charity that supports disabled people to live their lives to the full is set to receive a funding boost, thanks to the generosity of local solicitors.
From April 20 to May 1, Prettys solicitors and Birkett Long LLP solicitors in Chelmsford will help people to write their Will without charging their normal fees.
Instead they will suggest people make a recommended donation to local charity Papworth Trust.
The Trust supports disabled people and their families to live their lives to the full through services such as support with care and accessible homes.
Gavin Chappell-Bates, Papworth Trust’s Major Donor and Legacy Fundraiser said: “If you haven’t made your Will yet, now is your chance.
"Between April 20 and 1 May we are running our Where there’s a Will there’s a way campaign.
“If you book a Will writing appointment with Prettys and Birkett Long solicitors during this time, you won’t be charged a fee. Instead, you will be invited to make a donation to Papworth Trust.
“Not only will you have a professionally written Will and peace of mind knowing the people you care about are provided for, but you will make a big difference to our work supporting disabled people.
"Thank you very much to everyone at Prettys and Birkett Long for their kind support.”
