A day nursery is opening its doors to parents and inviting them to experience the activities they have on offer for their children.

Kiddi Caru, in Writtle, will open on April 25 for parents to take part in activities such as shaving foam play, learn French and have a go at yoga.

There will also be treasure basket play and biscuit icing for the under twos, music and movement and dressing up for two to three year olds as well as self portrait painting and IT for pre-school children.

Outside in the nursery’s garden area there will be bubble play and planting seeds.

Parents and children attending will also be able to sample a delicious meal of chicken pasta with spinach followed by fruit salad and jelly, freshly prepared by Kiddi Caru’s on site chef.

Jennie Gregory, Nursery Manager, said: “Our door is always open to parents but we like to have special days throughout the year when they can come in and get a real feel for what their child does day to day here.

"It’s difficult when you are so busy and sometimes literally just have time to drop your child off and go to work – their life can become a bit of a mystery.

"Our Experience Days give parents an insight into our typical day so that they can then discuss different activities with their child at home and feel more included.”

The Experience Day at Kiddi Caru Writtle will take place on April 25 between 10.30am and 1pm.
