ESSEX SENIOR LEAGUE: Bowers & Pitsea face the biggest test of their promotion credentials so far this season when they welcome league leaders Haringey Borough to the Len Salmon Stadium.

Rob Small’s team are on a roll, having won 11 consecutive leagues matches and have Haringey in their sights.

Despite sitting 20 points behind their opponents, Bowers have five games in hand over the leaders and a win would be a huge shot in the arm for the hosts.

Bowers are hopeful striker Lewis Manor will be available, although he faces a late fitness test, while Dan Brown and Neil Marron have been ruled out through injury.

Haringey have won 21 of their 24 games this term.

Hullbridge Sports visit FC Romania as they look to get their season back on track.

A flurry of postponements has seen them drop to 11th while FC Romania are flying high in third place, despite a surprising midweek loss to Southend Manor.

They have added 18-year-old keeper Sean King from Burnham Ramblers and 19-year-old striker Robbie Farrell from Thurrock.

The game will be played at the home of Cheshunt FC.

Basildon United have a fully fit squad for their game Newham.
