CONFERENCE SOUTH: Concord Rangers are aiming to repeat their weekend heroics when they visit Havant & Waterlooville tonight.
The Beach Boys travel to Hampshire to take on third-placed Havant, only days after securing one of their most impressive results of the season against Whitehawk – who are joint third with Havant.
Concord won 3-0 on Saturday, thanks to a brace from Steve Cawley and a goal from Sam Collins.
And manager Danny Cowley was full of praise for his players on Twitter, having beaten League Two side Dagenham & Redbridge last week to reach the semi-finals of the Essex Senior Cup.
“Great response this week from the boys. Two really positive results! Striving for consistency and sustainability now!”
Havant haven’t had the easiest time since the turn of the year, having already lost twice. They drew on Saturday at home against Sutton United.
A win could lift the 13th placed Beach Boys as high as ninth in the Conference South standings.
