BOWERS & Pitsea humiliated FC Romania as they hit the third-placed side for eight!

Rob Small’s men are on a superb run and have now scored 20 goals in their last three matches, conceding only one in the progress.

And they were in control from the early stages against the high-flying Romania in what was their first match of the new year.

Tom Hine was the star of the show, shoring four goals of the afternoon.

And it was Hine who scored the first goal, shooting over the keeper after a neat pass from Aaron Russell.

Lewis Manor added a second before FC Romania saw red, when their captain was sent off.

And Bowers marched on against the 10-men, with Manor feeding Hine who added a third before he hit his hat-trick and fourth of the afternoon to put the result beyond doubt.

Vinny Durrant and Lewis Manor combined well for Bowers to add their sixth of the afternoon, via the aid of a home defender’s outstretched boot.

Ashley Wackers-Kyriacou added a late double for Bowers as they continue their title tilt.
